China slideshow

Today, my class presented a China powerpoint slideshow. We had each done China reports on topics; mine was the Chinese leopard. Kates, a classmate of mine, mom took the key info out of our reports and put them into the slideshow and added pictures and music. Today, my class presented the finished work. After that we got.... New year resolutions

Resolutions are a promise to do something new, to do something better. Note that solution is part of the word resolution.  Also take note that the add-on re sort of means new, as in a new solution. These are usually made on days considered to be fresh starts. The most common type of resolutions are New Years resolutions, since it is the beginning of the year and the end of the old. Other dates that usually have resolutions made on them are the first day of school, camp, summer, or your birthday.

Aguments

There are arguments everywhere. What is the best way of teaching. How to make stuff from clay. What is a good book. These arguments make the world. No one ever agrees on something. Arguments decide which way is the law, which side will prevail. Each argument- silent or not- has a reason,plain or hidden, petty or not. These things shape the world. Each argument has a winner, a loser, and a judge. The judge might not know he is judging; she might be dead. Any way, the judge of the argument decides the outcome in something she says, or something he dos. Arguments shape the world.
