Student Bloggers In Other States

Today, I visited two class blogs- one Iowa, one in Hawaii! It's cool to know that other people- students- are blogging at there. So far only one person has got comments, but the class's are working on it. They are both fifth graders- 5BFish from Hawaii, FeltonsFabolousFive from Iowa. I think it is nice that we get to communicate with other students like us, over great distances, using the internet!

Testing Season

Commomon Core Testing: The horror of 3 to 5 grade students. ELA and math. ELA received alot of people protesting that the questions where unclear. I agree, but did't have time to go to the protest. I look forward to the math test- our teacher said that students always do better on math then ELA. The math is next week. ELA was the week before break. It was easier then I thought it would be. We don't get our test results till August. BOO!

An Audience

How do I feel about this Blog?
I, honestly, don't know. It feels strange sitting here, knowing that you are reading these words. But out of MemoryLand, and back into this post, Which I am going to use as a overview that everyone, not only me, can see. Because an audience needs info, right?
Including this, I have 14 posts. I have 32 labels. I have 10 gadgets. Today, I have 23 pageviews, yesterday I had none, last month I had 149 page views, In all, I have 332. I have three comments made by two people, on The Dragon Statues, Recovering, and Frost Leapers. I have gotten 50% percent of my pageviews from Safari, 31% from Google Chrome, 12% from Firefox, and 6% from Internet Explorer. I have a customized Ethreal template.
I am sorry if this sounds personal or by-the-numbers like.
P.S. Do you know P.S means post script?

Reflection of possibilities

Today we watched the final video in a series of videos by a guy named Kyle Lambert. The videos are drawings of famous things, like Toy Story 3, paintings about famous people, and models. There is a argument about whether the drawings are real- they are a bit too realistic. The side I take in this argument is the side of the believers. Kyle Lambert might be a fraud-but he designed something amazing ether way.Whether the drawings are real or not, Kyle Lambert has amazing skill. If he drew them- amazing skill. If he delated the pictures piece by piece and made the video show it backwards- amazing skill. This shows us the possibilities the internet opens for us. Drawing amazing pictures. Watching videos. Writing- and reading- stories. But most importantly, Kyle Lambert lives in the UK-United Kingdoms. We live in the USA-United States of America. We would not have been able to make contact with Kyle Lambert if not for the internet. This shows us the internets importance.

Welcome to my blog!

Hello.  I am Lena. This blog will be about books, the world, and books. I know I said books twice. Its to emphasize the point that this blog will be about books and the world- and stories. Stories are an
important part of life. Tales about how the fox outwitted the human, how the ice  witch was melted in the sun but still killed the hero, how people can turn into animals. Scary stories by firelight are a part of life. Even though stories and tales are important, lets move on to animals. I love animals. Snakes, birds of prey(eagles, falcons), wild cats(tigers, lions, bobcats, cheetahs) and turtles(of all kinds) are my favorites. I have a pet snake, Firescale. He is a corn snake. He is red, orange, and white, with very little yellow and no black. I like books. They are fantastic. Like the character Matilda. She is in a book called Matilda. The author of the book is Ronald Dalh. He wrote other books, like The Witches and the BFG. I would give him the grand prize for writing if I could.
